This painting depicts designs associated with the rockhole and soakage water site of Tjitjurrulpa, situated in rocky hills west of the Kintore Community. During mythological times a group of women travelled east from this site toward the rockhole site of Illpilli.

While at Tjiturrulpa, the group gathered a variety of bush foods including the small seeds known as wangunu, or woollybutt, from the perennial grass Eragrostis eriopoda, pura or bush tomato from the shrub Solunum chippendalei and kampurarrpa or desert raisin from the small shrub  Solanum centrale.
